Weekly Results
THURSDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER:
Peter Flick,[31], has struck again! This time with no less than a four ball like 47pts, to clear out with the Single Stableford. Wally Bell,[22], did well, but was way back on 42pts., as runner up All scores of 36pts or better won golf balls
SATURDAY 4th SEPTEMBER:
Two players returned nett 65 to share the best score of the day in the Single Stroke, which was the first of two rounds of the “Mulherin and Schier Spring Cup” in somewhat windy conditions, although overnight rain took some sting out of the greens. A temporary green was in play while improvements are being done to the 12th tee and green. Lismore visitor, Darren Linton,[18], and local Sid Bateman,[27], were the two players concerned, with Linton winning B Grade, and Bateman taking C Grade, and the Monthly Medal. Rod Trustum,[27], was runner up in C Grade with 66, while Mr Consistency, Terry O’Brien,[17], filled that position in B Grade. John Riggall,[10], had the best of a count back on 69 in A Grade, with Adam Shields[5]. There was a count back on 72 for golf balls

SOCIAL CLUB GOLF RESULTS
The winner of social golf was Garry Randall with a net score of 22 from Terry Mortimer with 28. 3rd, Darren Rea 29. 4th, Jean Ruttley 31. 5th, Jeff Olive 33. The putting trophy was won by Tiger Rankin with 14 putts, the mystery shots on the 2nd, M Ryan. 6th, G Shephard, the mystery hole (17th) D Olive. The mystery nett (38) S Shephard, the players draw T Mortimer and the bradmans M Gooding. Nearest to pins: 1st, G Randall. 3rd & 8th, W Jackson. 4th, J Wilkinson. 18th, B Yates. Next Sunday there will be no social golf played at Casino as the club is off to Woodenbong to play a two person ambroes and the coach will leave the club at 6-00am sharp, the sponsor is D.I.Y.
