Wednesday 14th February and the weather reports were sending out signs of a 41° day, so most of the ladies were out early to hit off, and get in before the heat reached its peak. There were 28 ladies who made it to the South Casino Butchery sponsored day, making 2 Divisions for the Sponsorship Trophies. The Overall Winner of the day was Kay Wood (28) finishing with a Nett 70 to also take out the Monthly Medal and the Vets Comp. Div 1 Winner was Anne Mead (21) with 75 on a c /b from Runner up Marg King (23). Div 2 Winner was Joan Burnett (36) with 72 on a c/b from Runner Up Heather McAndrew (28). McDonalds Pharmacy Putting was one by Div 1 Louise Formaggin, Div 2 Kay Wood and Div 3 Joan Burnett. Longest Drives were Div 1 Anne Mead, Div 2 Marg King, and Div 3 Di Black. Balls went to 77 on a c/b.
Friday 9th February there were 14 in the field for the Tony Hatton Auto Electrical Trophy and Loretta Transton (23) came in with a great 36 Points for the 2nd Round of the year. Runner Up was Reinie Kingsley (22) with 35 Points. Balls went to Nora, Vonnie, Di Black and Marg King. NTP’s 5th Sponsored by Debbie Low was won by Linda Dean, 9th Sponsored by Loretta Transton was won by Linda Dean and the 17th Sponsored by Carolyn Ross was won by Ann Innes.
Changes to the Program for the next 2 weeks – The sponsor for the 21st February is Just Brakes & Exhausts the game is an 18 hole stableford and the first round of the Jan Lutschini Memorial Trophy. The sponsor for the 28th February is Richmond Dairies.
Tee off times will continue from 7.00 a.m. for the next 2 weeks as well.
Nomination forms are on the board for Pennant which will commence at the end of April, and for the Kyogle vs Casino Shield which is to be held at Casino on 16th April.
