Considered by many to be one of the best courses on the Northern Rivers, Casino Golf Club’s course is challenging for experienced players without being too daunting for the beginner or social golfer. The 18 hole layout is a par 70 with an AGR rating of 69, ladies par of 72 with an LGU rating of 70. The course is divided into a 10 hole lower section around the CLUBHOUSE and a top section of 8 holes a short walk across the road.

LOCAL RULES

To be read in conjunction with the Rules of Golf

OUT OF BOUNDS

(i) Those areas beyond the course boundary fences.
(ii) Those areas beyond the line of white stakes with black tops.

TREES AND SHRUBS

If a tree or shrub which is staked or tagged interferes with the player’s stance or area of his intended swing, the player MUST take relief in accordance with the procedure prescribed in Rule 24-2b(i) (Immovable Obstructions)

NOTE: All stakes are immovable obstructions.

GROUND UNDER REPAIR

(i) All areas defined by white stakes and/or lines.
(ii) Except in a hazard, clearly defined wheel marks made by a mower, tractor or motor vehicle.

NOTE: All stakes and tree guards, other than those stakes defining “out of bounds”, are immovable obstructions.

PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULES

Stroke Play – 2 strokes. Match Play – Loss of hole.
